Gilded Gold Dog Mug

There’s only one thing I love in the world more than a good pun, and that’s my dog. Liberty Belle Smith is pretty much the cutest little Golden in the entire world. Combine the two together and you get… This pun-tastic dog mug. Completely customizable and everyone you know will be jealous of your mad Cricut skills!

How to:

Step 1: Find a silhouette image of the breed you wish to use and up load it to Design Space.

Step 2: Type your dog pun/name! I used Baksoda as my font, but any handwriting font will work.

Here are some ideas:

  • Stay Golden
  • Hey Corgeous
  • (Breed) mama [ex: Chihuahua Mom, Pug Mom]
  • Pug Life
  • Lifes Merrier with a Terrier
  • Or simply, “Lab,” “Golden,”

Step 3: Change the size and arrange the font to fit within the silhouette. I separated my font by line to arrange, then by letter so that the letter touched.

Step 4: Weld the letters in each word together, and then slice from the main dog image.

Step 5: Send through your Cricut using stencil vinyl. Weed the image and apply transfer tape.

Step 6: Using gold gilding, paint in the stencil. Let dry.

Step 8: Wash and enjoy! (Note: this does have metal on it, so don’t put it in the microwave!)
